CNC Turning Process
CNC turning is a subtractive manufacturing process that is used to create different shapes. Once the CNC turning code is created, the stock material is loaded into the chuck of the lathe’s spindle. A cutting tool is then held against the stock to remove material until the desired shape is achieved for the part.
